Your vibe-coded app is stuck on localhost. Get it live in 5 steps
"Vibe coded an app but it's still stuck on localhost?" Short answer: 5 steps. 1) Put the code on GitHub; 2) Know what kind of app you have; 3) Connect the repo to the host; 4) Add environment variables in the host's dashboard; 5) Read the build log when it fails.

How do I fix this?
Put the code on GitHub
Create a repo and push your project. Make sure .env and other secret files are in .gitignore first (see the leaked-keys fix).
Know what kind of app you have
Only HTML/JS, or a front-end framework with no server? It's static: use Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare Pages. Does it have a server, database or Python back end? Use Railway, Render or Fly.io.
Connect the repo to the host
Sign in to the host with GitHub, import the repo and accept the detected build settings. Most hosts auto-detect Next.js, Vite, Astro and common Python setups.
Add environment variables in the host's dashboard
Copy each key from your local .env into the host's environment settings. The app will usually crash or show blank pages without them.
Read the build log when it fails
Paste the first red error from the deploy log into your coding agent and ask it to fix that error only. Redeploy happens automatically on the next push.
Which tools can do this for me?
Vercel
Best fit for Next.js and most front-end frameworks; connects to GitHub and deploys on every push.
Netlify
Static sites and front-end apps from a Git repo or drag-and-drop folder.
Cloudflare Pages
Static sites on Cloudflare's network; generous free tier.
Railway
Back-ends, databases and full-stack apps (Python, Node, etc.) from a repo.
